US Shipping Update: Specific Brands

We are currently only shipping Eton products to the US, with more brands to follow. We will continue to update our shipping services, so please check back for further updates.

Changes to US Shipping

We’d like to keep you updated on some changes at Jules B that will affect the way you shop with us when ordering to the USA.

On the 30th July 2025, the United States Government announced an Executive Order outlining changes to customs obligations and processes for items being imported into the USA. Under the new regulations, the duty-free threshold (‘de minimis’) of $800 will be changed to $0. This means all items will now carry duty prices. On top of this, there will also be tariff charges. These changes are expected to come into effect on 29th August 2025.

As a Jules B customer, this means that you will see an overall increase in prices. At the delivery stage of the checkout, you will see:

• The item price

• Shipping & handling charge

• The duty charge

• The tariff charge

Tariffs are based on the country of manufacture. As an example, any item that is made in Italy will see a 15% increase. You can find the full list of tariffs on The White House official website. With this in mind, we just want to remind you that you can continue to shop with us as normal, at our usual prices, until 29th August 2025.

During seasonal peaks please allow up to 2 working days for your order to be dispatched on your designated service. If you require any further information on this please contact our Customer Care team. Jules B will always try to merge your order into one package. However, on occasions, your order may be split into separate packages.

First Time Orders

To avoid delays to your order, please ensure that your billing address matches the address on your card statement and that the card holder's name is written as it appears on the card. Please ensure that your contact details are filled in accurately so that we can contact you if necessary. For security, customers may also be subjected to standard fraud prevention checks.

Restrictions & Import Taxes

United Kingdom
Certain premium delivery services may be limited by geographical restrictions and might not be displayed during the checkout process.

European Union
All items are dispatched from the United Kingdom. With the United Kingdom's exit from the European Union, the previous free trade agreement has come to an end. Consequently, customers in the listed countries will be subject to additional duties and taxes on their purchases. If your order exceeds £135/€150, these supplementary fees will be clearly outlined at the checkout under a dedicated Surcharge section. It is important to note that the final price displayed at checkout includes all applicable fees, and no further charges will be requested by ourselves or the courier. The affected EU countries include Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

Rest of the world
Please be aware that you might be required to settle customs duties and taxes for the items you acquire. If your order surpasses the specified threshold for your country, you may encounter a VAT, Duties & Handling fee, which is not covered in your Jules B invoice. Failure to address this may result in additional return-to-sender fees imposed by Jules B. For instance, countries such as the USA have a threshold of $800, and Australia has a threshold of $1000 before duties become applicable. We recommend considering splitting your order if it exceeds these thresholds.

Security & Liability

For our online orders we use a combination of couriers including DHL, DPD and Royal Mail.

Our couriers ensure that your goods are correctly delivered/signed for thus ensuring that your parcel is in safe hands. Jules B does not accept liability for any delivery instructions issued to the delivery company by the customer. If you leave instructions requesting a parcel to be left in a different location (eg shed, garage, neighbour etc) we cannot accept responsibility if you fail to receive your parcel.

Your purchase is insured if your parcel is lost/damaged/stolen whilst in transit and under the care of the couriers. Once the parcel is delivered/signed for then it is no longer covered under this agreement and the responsibility of the parcel and its contents falls to the recipient.

If your order is returned to sender due to multiple unsuccessful delivery attempts, you will be liable to pay the return delivery charges.
